2023.04.29 - Sparkhub 2.0 introduces customer followups, tasks, and more
Sparkhub 2.0 is live, and carries many changes. We won't list every little thing here, but here are some highlights.
All help articles are in the "Sparkhub 2.0" section of the help center, but our Boot Camp course is the best way to walk through training in a sequential way, with a workbook, to learn the new features.
To join Boot Camp, go to the "home" area and follow the instructions. Boot Camp is available inside Sparkspace.
- 2.0 corresponds with the release of Sparkspace, our new community and learning center, which houses a new onboarding course called Boot Camp. Learn more in the "home" tab. The Boot Camp course replaces our former "Quick Start" course.
- Introduction of "Sparks" which are automated tasks performed by Sparkhub (such as sending texts, adding to a PB Campaign, adding to Contact Notes, adding or removing Tags, etc.)
- Introduction of Sparkhub Dynamic Fields, which offer text replacement in many contexts such as text messages and Project Broadcast Landing Pages
- Enhancement of To-dos, for you and the Host: they contain a date field and can expand to show details
- Introduction of Contact view and Contact To-dos: you can see PB data on any Contact, log an order, and create To-dos on any Contact.
- Improvement in Host Portal sending process: rather than send an email from admin@sparkhub.app, we will instead open for you a draft email that you can send from your own account. This should improve deliverability, give you more insight into what your Host receives, and eliminate the issue of Hosts emailing our admin account with questions that should go to you.
- Introduction of a centralized To-do list, which shows all of your To-dos across all Events and Contacts
- Improvements to Event pages:
- You can now have a more fully-customized Signup Page by housing it on a PBLP.
- You can customize Signup and Party Pages more fully through the use of Sparkhub Dynamic Fields.
- You can select from 1,500 fonts for PBLPs via Sparkhub's integration of Google Fonts.
- Improvements to Event Management
- You have more options for what to do when guests register for an Event: the old "PB Actions" tab has been renamed "Signup Workflow," and includes more action options (such as tagging, adding to multiple campaigns, etc.) and the option to take actions on a delay rather than all at once.
- Introduction of the Event Timeline, which organizes all Key Dates, To-dos (for you and the Host), and Sparks into one view, with the ability to shift all dates at once using a single Primary Date
- Host Portal shows the Host which guests have ordered, and shows the detailed To-do list.
- Introduction of order logging and Customer Order Followup Workflows: you can create a followup plan containing Sparks and To-dos. When a customer orders, you can log the order, review the Workflow, edit if needed, and initiate.
- Easier Host coaching: the above changes mean you can incorporate both dated To-dos and a sequence of texts right into your Sparkhub setup.
- Easier cloning and sharing: the above changes make cloning your own Events, and sharing your setup with others, easier in a few ways:
- You can centralize more messages into Sparkhub (rather than rely on PB Campaigns) so that the entire setup gets cloned at once.
- You can use Sparkhub Dynamic Fields to customize messages and pages for every event with the Host name, order link, and more.
- You can share your PBLPs with other users, and they won't need to replace your name, phone number, email address, or shopping site link with their own. This is because there are Sparkhub Dynamic Fields that ensure the page displays consultant information for the correct consultant.
